The Short Version:

Years ago I found myself hanging sheets up in the garage to take pictures of my first baby. I remember the frustration I felt trying to get the images in focus, figure out the light, and capture my subject all at once. One day I decided to put the camera in manual and never change it again. I was hooked once I learned that light was my friend. The creative part of shooting began, and I was able to shift my focus to my subject and making them shine.
